Am sure by now, most of you have heard of the tragic events going on in Nigeria, West Africa. In case you haven't, there have been bomb blasts, mass murders, and series of kidnapping. Over 2 weeks ago over 200 schools girls were kidnapped from their school at Government Girls' Secondary, Chibok, Nigeria, by an Islamic Terrorist group called Boko Harram. The sad part is, they have not been found. There have been reports that although some have managed to escape, some have been, or are being sold off to militant men as child brides for a little as $12.
My heart constantly bleeds for these girls, as I cannot begin to imagine what they are going through out there. The constant fear of not knowing if they will make it home, make it out alive, or what will become of them. The constant torture they are going through. I wonder how much food they have even had in the past 2 weeks, if any. There is a huge possibility that they are being raped and sexually molested. What about their parents? Can you begin to imagine the anguish they are going through? Knowing your daughter is out there somewhere, but not knowing where, or if she is alive...
